I am trying to Manage the Allow/Block List in C·O·M·O·D·O | AntiVirus on Windows XP. I click Settings | HIPS Application Control | General and I am about to click Manage.
The AntiVirus program has been caught by Microsoft trying to execute the dreaded DEP trick that viruses love to use (throw data onto the stack and execute it as code there, thus thwarting static anti-virus checks).
Data Execution Prevention helps protect against damage from viruses or other threats. Yeah, right! Any suggestions?
